| All of our tiles are hand made by a California tile artist. She hand carves the master and then plaster molds are made. Clay is hand pressed into the molds and each tile is stamped with the maker's mark.
After drying, each tile is glazed by hand some tiles receiving as many as 5 different colors! The tiles are fired at over 2100 degrees. This high firing makes them very durable when used outside even in extreme temperatures. |
